Kreuter / Buhler Model CC, (2) zone, compound conditioner and tempering unit with heat exchanger, used for both heating and cooling for perfect conditioning of set compound mass with pounds of mass product per hour – depending on materials and application. The Mass (fat glaze) must first be conditioned and for this pupose is tempered in the compound conditioner and is heated to a uniform temperature in the first zone and afterwards is cooled down and tempered in the second zone to an even enrobing temperature that will ideally be slightly above the melting point of the compound. Advantages of this are shorter cooling time due to the lower enrobing temperature of the compound, reduced cooling length therefore saving valuable floor space and increased production capacity with integrated screw, heat exchanger and chocolate pumps.
